Welwyn Garden City-based solicitors are taking part in the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge to raise money for a local charity.
Trainee solicitors Elizabeth Russell and Tom Axon from Crane & Staples will walk 25 miles in just 12 hours around Ingleborough, Pen-y-ghent and Whernside, which form part of the Pennine range in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
They will complete the challenge between June 10 and 12, and have already raised £927 for Isabel Hospice, which provides support for adults with life-limiting illnesses.
Erica Pearce-Howard, associate legal practitioner at Crane & Staples, said: “Crane & Staples supports a number of local charities throughout the year and we are always happy to help Isabel Hospice, so when Elizabeth and Tom heard about the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, they both thought it would be a great way to continue these efforts, raise awareness and raise lots of much needed money for a very worthwhile cause.”
