A 22-year-old has admitted stealing hundreds of pounds worth of booze and perfume from two shops in Welwyn Garden City.

Constantin Soare appeared at Hatfield Magistrates’ Court on January 7 where he admitted two offences.

Soare stole £161 worth of perfume from Debenhams in the town on December 3.

On January 5, he targeted Waitrose in WGC, stealing £195 worth of alcohol.

He was fined £134 and ordered to pay compensation of £161.

Soare, of Lealand Road in London, must also pay victim services £30 and £85 court costs.

In total, he must pay £410.
