Residents are being encouraged to soak up the fun at a community event in Peartree, Welwyn Garden City.

The annual get-together is set to return on Saturday, July 14, from 1pm to 4pm, at Woodhall Community Hall in Mill Green Road.

Visitors will be able to enjoy children’s entertainment, live performances from Peartree Primary School pupils, dancing, and several stalls.

There will also be a wide range of food, including Polish and Thai delicacies, an art exhibition and sports activities.

The event is sponsored by Welwyn Hatfield Council and county councillors Nigel Quinton and Lynn Chesterman.

Michal Siewniak, who is helping to organise it, told the WHT: “Peartree Fun Day brings the whole community together to celebrate the summer and offer family fun for everyone.

“The event will be also a great opportunity to showcase our local talents and demonstrate that Peartree is a vibrant and well-connected community.”

For more information or to book a stall, email michal.siewniak1@gmail.com or call the Woodhall Community Centre on 01707 323305.
