The WGC-born Portsmouth goalkeeper will surpass Gary Speed's milestone of 535 games in football's top flight, if he plays against one of his former teams Manchester City, at Fratton Park today at 3pm.
It has been 17 years since the former Sir Frederic Osborn pupil made his Premier League debut.
