A CANINE has been rated the cutest animal to be rescued in Europe.
After more than a thousand votes were tallied Willow the Labrador from WGC, was rewarded the title PETA's Europe's Cutest Rescue Animal.
Chloe Hale, who adopted the pooch and her mum Pippin, from National Animal Welfare Trust said: "The result is a fantastic piece of news."
PETA which created the contest to show that every animal is "precious" hopes that people who look at the pictures will - in addition to enjoying the cute images - think about homeless animals in refuges who would love to go home with a kind companion.
