YOUNG and old will come together this morning (Friday), when pupils from Homerswood School will perform a mini carol concert outside the Age UK shop in WGC.
The youngsters from the Kirklands school choir will be singing festive songs between 10am and 11am outside the Howardsgate store.
The shop is calling on shoppers to come along and listen to the carols, and take the opportunity to see what’s on offer inside and drop off any donations.
Any donated goods welcome – especially old coats, which are needed to sell this winter as part of Age UK’s new Spread the Warmth campaign.
