A PREMISES licence has been granted for a replacement pub on the former site of The Chieftain in WGC.
The original building in Cole Green Lane burned down in February 2008.
But brewery bosses at McMullen and Sons can now progress with plans to open up again, after the thumbs-up from Welwyn Hatfield Council’s licensing sub-committee.
The pub is set to start trading again in November.
