EGGHEADS at the ready ... you are wanted for a charity quiz.
Teams of brainiacs can now enter The Mega Quiz Night, being held at the Cork, in WGC, on Tuesday May 18, at 8.30pm.
The night will raise funds for the mayor’s, Kim Langley’s, charities - Women’s Refuge and the Willow Foundation - with the overall winners taking a �50 prize and a couple of bottles of wine.
Diane Wilson, landlady of the Howardsgate pub, said she is hoping the event, which was won by a WHT team earlier this year, will be even “bigger and better” than it was last time and will include a raffle.
Entrance is �1 per person, with a maximum of six players per team.
