Welwyn Garden City pub gets ready for Sergeant Slaughter

A BAND who share their name with a WWE Hall of Fame wrestler will be performing in WGC this week.
Heavy rockers Sergeant Slaughter are Ian Johnson (vocals, bass), Graham Fairweather (guitar), Luke French (drums) and Joe Vallory (bass).
The four-piece formed in February 2008 and draw their membership from WGC and Letchworth.
Currently unsigned, they band list Pantera, Foo Fighters and Soundgarden among their influences, and their tracks, including Everything, Die and Night Maker are both melodic and powerful.
Sergeant Slaughter will be at the Doctor's Tonic on Friday, July 24, alongside Winnebago Deal and Broken Butterfly X.
The 18+ show starts at 8pm and tickets cost �5 on the door.
