THE hunt is on to find Wayne Rooney, Fabio Capello and the rest of the England squad before the World Cup kicks off on June 11.
Well, not the Wayne Rooney and Fabio Capello, who will hopefully be in South Africa leading the team to glory, but their not-so-well-known namesakes.
National pizza chain Papa John’s Pizza is offering to deliver a free pizza before every England game to anyone with the same name as a member of Mr Capello’s final 23-man squad.
And if someone out there bears the same name as the Italian manager himself, then they will receive free pizza for a year.
Adnan Uddin, franchise owner of the Papa John’s store in Cole Green Lane, WGC, said: “Our store will be very busy with people getting food while watching the games and we thought this would be a nice way of marking the fact that we are right behind England.”
If you share the same name as one of England’s star players in this year’s World Cup, you can register on the Papa John’s Facebook page to be in with a chance of being named in “Papa’s 22” – and getting a free pizza every time England kick off.
