A performing arts school in Welwyn Garden City is celebrating after it achieved five gold stars for its standard of children’s activities.

Little Voices, which operates across WGC and the surrounding areas, has achieved ‘5 Star Gold Accreditation’ success with The Children’s Activities Association (CAA).

The school focuses on traditional teaching methods in singing and acting in small group lessons.

The CAA is an industry-led, not-for-profit community interest company founded and governed by experts to help parents, schools, nurseries and all children’s activities providers by raising the standard of their offering and improving access for more families.

Little Voices has been running since September 2016 during which time Cherice McKenzie-Cook has trained hundreds of youngsters in drama and singing, helping them to achieve LAMDA results, as well as increasing their social and personal development.

• For more information about the school contact Cherice on 07506 680 123/cherice@littlevoices.org.uk or visit http://www.littlevoices.org.uk/locations/welwyngardencity
