Police are continuing to investigate the death of a woman in Welwyn Garden City.

Officers were called at 10.45pm on Tuesday, August 15, to Blythway following reports of a domestic related incident.

A woman, aged in her 60s, sadly died at the scene.

A man in his 50s was initially arrested on suspicion of assault, but subsequently arrested on suspicion of murder.

He was later released under investigation.

A police spokeswoman told the Welwyn Hatfield Times today: “Yes, this still being investigated and nothing has changed in relation to the Blythway case at this stage.”
