Police are appealing for help after a man stole several packets of meat from a Welwyn Garden City shop.

On Friday, March 17, at around 1.15pm a man went into the Co-op in Shoplands, placed several packets of meat into a basket and left without paying, walking towards Ingles.

He is described as a white man, aged 25 to 35 years old and of medium build. He had messy mousey brown shoulder length hair and was wearing a bright blue jumper and blue jeans.

Anyone who has any information which could assist the investigation should please call PC Darren Turner via the Herts Police non-emergency number 101 quoting crime reference number B1/17/1128.
