Welwyn Garden City man jailed for brutal assault during mass brawl near pub

A Welwyn Garden City man has been jailed for a brutal assault that has left a 30-year-old man partially disabled.
Richard Petch, 25, of Wellcroft Road, was found guilty yesterday afternoon of causing grievous bodily harm (GBH) without intent. He was acquitted of GBH with intent.
Petch twice punched Lee Anthony during a mass brawl outside The Two Willows pub in the early hours of March 28, 2015.
He was sentenced to three years’ prison at St Albans Crown Court this morning.
