A PAIR of intrepid cyclists are to take on the length of Britain from today (Saturday).
Kevin Mills, of Linkfield, WGC, and Chris George will pedal some 1,000 miles from Land's End to John O'Groats.
Their marathon challenge will raise money for Old Hatfield-based Willow Foundation, which provides special days for seriously ill 16 to 40-year-olds.
Kevin, on the right in our picture, a 46-year-old dad-of-two, said they hoped to complete the epic adventure in just 13 days.
He said: "We'll be cycling as much as possible in the lead up to the challenge to prepare ourselves.
"The hills in Cornwall and getting going each morning will be the toughest parts, but I think when we get going it will be okay."
