Police were called following reports of a drunk Welwyn Garden City man acting aggressively.
Police were called at 8.20pm on Sunday, May 21, to Howlands, Welwyn Garden City, to reports of a drunk man being aggressive. Officers attended and a man was arrested on suspicion of causing fear or provocation of violence (Section 4 Public Order offence).
A police spokeswoman said: “A 34-year-old man from Welwyn Garden City was cautioned for using threatening or abusive behaviour or disorderly behaviour in the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress and using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause a person to believe that immediate unlawful violence would be used against him.”
