TOILET cleaners in a shopping outlet are flushed with pride after there loos were given a top award.

The lavatories in the Howard Centre, WGC, have won a five star grade in the Loo of the Year Award in the 2008 search to find the best 'away from home' toilets in the UK.

Every entry received an unannounced visit from an inspector and was assessed against a wide range of criteria.

This year Howard Centre's toilets were voted the best.

Shirley Harper, marketing manager, believed the award was down to the team not letting standards drop.

"Our fantastic team take thorough care and great pride of our toilets. Almost every year we win an award for the toilets, they are super duper good!
