A spokesman for Welwyn Garden City’s Howard Centre is remaining tight lipped over the fashion store that is set to be opening in the centre.

A spokesman for the shopping centre said: “Work is commencing this week to create another large fashion store, details of which store it is will be formally announced in the New Year.”

The unit for the fashion store will comprise five units on the first floor and two units on the ground floor, the construction work is expected to take an estimated two months. The shop is due to open in Spring 2016.

The relocated Sports Direct store opened at the weekend and the extended Next store will be opening later this month.

As part of the relocation of units for the anchor store, Thomas Cook is opening a new store with their latest shop design on the first floor in December.
