Welwyn Garden City footbridge to open

Network Rail has announced the date that it hopes to reopen the Welwyn Garden City footbridge.
The footbridge was closed on Tuesday, February 9, due to health and safety reasons.
A spokesman for Network rail has said that the footbridge is “targeted” to reopen by February 24 for public use.
The spokesman added said: “The target date depends on if there is any disruptions such as difficult weather conditions.”
