Welwyn Garden City firefighters rescue trapped dog

Firefighters from Welwyn Garden City rescued a dog trapped in a hole overnight.
A crew from Welwyn Garden City Fire Station was called at 10.48am on Saturday, February 27 to rescue a dog trapped in Panshanger Park.
The dog had got its collar caught in tree roots and had been stuck in the entrance to a badger’s sett since Friday.
The firefighters managed to get the dog out of the hole by 12.34pm, and the dog was reunited with its owner.
