A Welwyn Garden City family had to quickly return from their holiday following a fire in their garden.
Mum-of-three Stacey, 32, had to make a quick getaway from the family holiday in Clacton after receiving a phone call that her garden was on fire.
Firefighters from Welwyn Garden City fire station were called to the blaze in Cowper Road at 6.40pm on Saturday, May 14, where conifer trees and garden furniture were well alight in the back garden.
The crew extinguished the flames with a hose reel and the fire was out by 7.05pm.
In the fire, fencing, trees, bushes, flowers, decking, a trampoline and five out of six garden chairs were damaged.
