A Welwyn Garden City drugs raid resulted in three people being arrested.

After police found a golf ball sized package containing what was believed to be drugs, they attended a property in Mill Green Road, at around 6pm, on Thursday, November 12, and located other items that were also believed to be drugs.

A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a Class B drug, and a 27-year-old woman from Welwyn Garden City was arrested on suspicion of possession of a Class A drug with intent to supply, and possession of a Class C drug.

A 65-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of allowing a premises to be used to supply Class A drugs.

All three were released on police bail pending further inquiries until January 14, 2016.
