Welwyn Garden City detective to feature on ITV1 documentary Married To The Job

A Welwyn Garden City detective will feature on a new documentary tonight (Thursday) which follows women in the force.

Detective inspector Kay Lancaster, who leads the Constabulary’s Operation Manhunt, will be the first to appear on the six-part series Married To The Job.

The show follows four of Hertfordshire’s senior female officers as they balance serious crime inquiries and the management of prolific offenders alongside their personal and family lives.

Detective inspector Lancaster, who deals with rogue traders, distraction burglaries and other crimes against the elderly, will be appearing on the first two episodes starting tonight on ITV1 at 8.30pm.

Chief inspector of Welwyn Hatfield, Jo Walker, will be featuring later on in the series.
