A WELWYN Garden City-based technology firm demonstrated its latest revolutionary, life-saving gadget on a hit BBC Radio show.
Nita Shah, director of Tarilian Laser Technologies, demonstrated her company’s new Sapphire blood pressure monitor live on Simon Mayo’s Radio 2 Drivetime show.
The ground-breaking device can take a beat-by beat blood pressure reading from any part of the body, and can also be used as a foetal heart monitor.
The company, based in BioPark in Broadwater Road, is confident the tiny sensor will revolutionise the way blood pressure and cardiovascular performance is measured.
So confident, in fact, the company is expecting to create around 2,000 jobs over the next three years -n the majority based in WGC and Hertfordshire.
