A BMX bike, with glow in the dark pedals, was stolen from a 13-year-old boy.
Billy Sherwood had saved all of his Christmas and birthday money to buy a black Fit Street 1 BMX bike worth �300.
It was stolen from outside McDonald's, in WGC, on his way to Monk's Walk School, on Tuesday last week at 8am.
Mum Karen Hatherly, of WGC, said: "We're devastated.
"He usually cycles to school with his friends but now he has to get the bus."
The Bushey Ley woman added: "Everyone gave him money towards it.
"We're desperate to get it back."
It is believed the bike has been seen at the King George V playing fields.
Anyone with information should call police on 01707 806425. There is a �20 reward for its recovery.
