Welwyn Garden City-based charity holes £19k in latest golf fundraiser

A WGC-based hospice raised £19,000 during its latest golf fundraiser, which could pay for 30 nights of specialist nursing care at its In-Patient Unit.

Isabel Hospice, which provides support for adults with life limiting illnesses, swung into action with its annual autumn golf day at WGC Golf Club.

The winning trophy went to the ‘Last Of The Summer Whine’ team led by Nigel Mercer from Digswell, second place went to A10 Boiler Spares led by Paul Vicary and third place went to HRJ Foreman Laws led by Robert France.

Nearest pin was won by Alan Hubbard from Beechwood Financial and Longest Drive was won by Paul Sniders from AMP Air Conditioning. The Putting Competition was won by Andy Glowdansky from Clearwater Environmental.
