TEENAGE athlete Jodie Williams remains on course for a sensational sprint double at the IAAF World Youth Championships in Bressanone, Italy.
The 15-year-old Herts Phoenix runner from Welwyn Garden City eased into the 200m final as the fastest qualifier, clocking 23.44 seconds in her semi-final today (Saturday).
After blasting her way to gold on Thursday in the 100m, Queenswood School pupil Williams is now in with a great chance of another world title.
Williams, who has a personal and season's 200m best of 23.25 secs, will be joined in the final by fellow Brit Shaunna Thompson.
The Sale Harrier was third in her heat, but is through to the final as a fastest loser.
