DAREDEVIL Beverley Turner fell 10,000ft from an aeroplane and raised £1,500 for charity.
The accountant, who lives in The Avenue, Welwyn, did the parachute jump in aid of Breakthrough Breast Cancer’s (BBC) vital research and education work.
She told the Welwyn Hatfield Times: “It was absolutely incredible – it is hard to put into words, it just blew me away.
“It is one of the best things I’ve ever done in my life.”
Speaking about her motivation to raise funds for the charity, she said: “So many of my friends have overcome breast cancer in recent years that this was the least I could do to.
“Breast cancer affects 46,000 women each year and BBC does a fantastic job in supporting them.”
