Snow alerts continue while Great Northern update Wednesday’s train travellers.
The Met Office updated its weather alerts for Welwyn Garden City and Hatfield on Tuesday, extending the yellow snow warning.
Great Northern tweeted last night to say that it is expecting to run a normal service today (Wednesday February 28).
But it looks like we’ll see the worst of the cold snap tonight, with an 80 per cent chance of heavy snow before the next morning and a minimum nighttime temperature of -5° C.
The Met Office’s yellow snow warning is now extended to Saturday March 3, with a 50 per cent chance of light snow returning on Friday night.
