Snow expected across Hertfordshire at rush hour

Gritters will be on stand-by to hit the area’s main routes across the county.

A spokeswoman for Hertfordshire County Council has said it is expecting snow to fall this afternoon, which could have a knock-on effect on tonight’s (Monday’s) rush hour.

County councillor Stuart Pile said: “We advise residents to travel only if your journey is essential.

“If you do decide to travel, please check travel news first and allow extra time for your journey.”
