REFUSE and recycling collections have been cancelled today (Monday) due to this weekend’s snow.
A Welwyn Hatfield Council spokeswoman said: “Due to the adverse conditions on the roads due to heavy snow over the weekend, refuse and recycling collections planned for today have been cancelled.
“Collections planned for today will now be collected on the next schedule collection day.”
She added: “As the refuse and recycling service has been cancelled, the council’s snow clearance plan has been invoked.
“Serco teams will be clearing snow from priority areas as identified in its plan.”
