There was no escape for Potters Bar from the storms that have battered Britain.
Roads such as Warrengate Lane and Cecil Road had already been affected by flooding and faced road closures while they were drained.
And over the weekend the blustering winds caused havoc across the town, with Grangewood particularly affected.
A tree was blown down onto the road, completely blocking off traffic in both directions, and damage was also caused to the roof of a house.
Commuters at Potters Bar Railway Station also faced delays and cancellations over the weekend as train services were disrupted due to the weather.
