Snow may fall in Hertfordshire on Thursday, possibly enough to disrupt roads, according to forecasters.

According to the Met Office, after a mild Wednesday, rain moving eastwards may turn to snow in Hertfordshire and other parts of the East of England, with a “small chance” of travel disruption and power supply interruption.

The predicted daytime temperature in Welwyn Hatfield on Thursday is four degrees Celsius, dropping to Freezing Point at night.

Although Friday and Saturday may be slightly colder, forecasters do not predict further snow in Hertfordshire.
