FANS of the blues are in for a treat when RoadRunner perform in Hitchin next weekend.
Formed in 2006, the six-piece are Alex Bay (vocals), James Bay (guitar/vocals), Tom Peel (guitar), Dave Nicholas (keyboards), James Boardman (bass) and Tom Richwood (drums).
The Hitchin-based blues rockers released their first CD - RoadRunner, The Album - in 2007 and have sold almost 1,000 copies to date.
They list Neil Young, Chuck Berry and John Lee Hooker among their influences and have also shared the stage with a number of established acts, including The Hamsters, The Larry Miller Band and The Blockheads.

RoadRunner will be at Club 85 on Saturday, April 4, alongside Geometrics, Martell and Pretty Thieves.
The music starts at 7.45pm and is expected to finish at 11.45pm.
