Officers who recovered a bicycle in Welwyn Garden City are appealing for its owner to come forward.

The bike was found in Hydeway at around 10.25pm on Friday, January 6.

A police spokeswoman said: “It is believed that the black Triumph Atlanta mountain bike (pictured) was taken from bicycle racks near the railway station before being recovered by police.”

The mountain bike is missing both its rubber handlebar covers.

Anyone who has any information that could assist the investigation should call Hertfordshire Constabulary’s non-emergency number 101, quoting ISR 715 of January 6.
