Robin, who officially opened the rink with the help of mayor Kim Langley and Miss Herts 2009 Suzy Cumming, introduced a host of stars to perform including British novice solo ice dance champion, Aaron Lee, and 13-year-old Yasmin Taha.
First up was Yasmin, followed by the Lee Valley synchronized skating team, then Aaron and finally British senior ice dance silver medallists and Olympic hopefuls, Pippa Tower-Green and Philip Poole.
