THE fire that destroyed a lorry and closed part of the M25 this morning (Tuesday) has been sensationally caught on camera.

This footage was caught by reader Steve Neville, as he passed the blaze near junction 24 Potters Bar.

"It was well alight," said Steve. "You could feel the heat coming from it as you passed."

Fire crews were called to the scene just before 7am, and the anticlockwise carriageway has been closed between junction 24 and junction 25 Waltham Cross while firefighters deal with fire.

The motorway is expected to reopen shortly.
