The 70th anniversary of the end of World War Two was marked by ceremonies in both Welwyn Garden City and Hatfield this weekend,

A commemorative service at the Howardsgate war memorial in Welwyn Garden City on Saturday morning was followed by a ceremony in Hatfield organised by the town council on Sunday.
