Police investigate Hatfield power tool theft

Have you been offered second-hand tools for sale?

Thieves broke into a van in Hatfield on Monday night, stealing power tools.

A Bosch drill and a Dewalt hand grinder were taken from a white Ford Transit on Bishops Rise between 6.30pm on Monday and 6.30am on Tuesday.

Police are appealing for information and have asked anyone who believes they might have been offered one of these items for sale to contact Herts Police via the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference B2/17/6173.

Herts Police remind residents not to leave tools in your van overnight.
