Gardening tools stolen in Potters Bar van break-in

Police are investigating the theft of gardening tools from a van in Potters Bar on Wednesday, June 6.

The van was broken into on Darkes Lane at around 9.40pm and a suspect was seen driving off in the direction of Tesco, towards High Street.

The suspect is described as a white man in his mid to late 30s, with a stocky build.

He was wearing a high-vis, black jacket, beige shorts and black trainers.

He was driving a black Toyota Avensis.

Any witnesses, or anyone with information, should contact Herts Police on the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference 41/5156/18.
