Three robbers threatened a man in Cuffley and stole his wallet and a valuable watch.

The gang, all black, confronted a man in his 20s in Tolmers Road at about 11.30pm on Wednesday.

One had a London accent, and another was wearing a black puffa jacket.

Detective Constable Ian Aldridge said: “Thankfully the victim was not injured during what would have been a frightening ordeal for him.

“Enquiries are on-going to identify those responsible for this robbery and in the meantime local patrols are being increased in the area.

“I am appealing for anyone who was in the area around the time stated and believes they saw three men matching the description to get in touch.

“I’d also like to speak to anyone who believes they have been offered the stolen Rolex Sky-Dweller watch for sale.”

Anyone with information should contact Detective Constable Aldridge on the Hertfordshire Constabulary non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference B2/17/510.

Rolex Sky-Dweller watches can cost well over £15,000, depending on the model and retailer.
