A CAR has overturned on the A1(M) this morning (Thursday) causing long delays to motorists.
At around 8.20am, a blue Volvo saloon heading southbound crashed into the central reservation just before junction 4, near the Oldings roundabout, Hatfield, flipping onto its roof and landing in the northbound lane.
The driver, a woman in her 30s, was not injured in the accident.
Long delays have been reported on the northbound carriageway, with only one lane currently open. Tailbacks are said to go back through the Hatfield tunnel, to junction 3, Welham Green.
