ALL lanes are now clear on the A1(M) following an earlier accident that left a car on its roof.
Traffic officers at the Highways Agency had closed one lane on both sides of the motorway to repair a crash barrier, after a blue Volvo saloon collided with it this morning at around 8.20am.
The accident had left the car overturned on the northbound carriage, just before junction 4, close to the Oldings roundabout, Hatfield.
The driver, a woman in her 30s, was uninjured in the collision.
The Highways Agency had closed the third lane of the A1(M) between junction four and junction five, WGC, to make the repairs.
Work is now complete, and all lanes are now open and traffic has returned to normal.
