Two women taken to hospital after rush hour car crash

TWO women were taken to hospital after a car crash on a commuter route last night (Wednesday).

The accident happened during the rush hour at 6.25pm on London Road, Woolmer Green and involved a green Ford Fiesta and a silver Skoda Fabia.

Ambulance service spokesman Gary Sanderson said: “The two woman involved sustained minor injuries. “Following stabilisation by paramedics, they were both taken to the Lister hospital in Stevenage.”

The collision was near to the Chequers Pub. Both women are believed to be in their 20s.
