Police were called to a crash in Welwyn Garden City this morning


Two vehicles had to be recovered following a crash in Welwyn Garden City this morning.

A Citroen Berlingo was in collision with a stationary Seat Ibiza in Cole Green Lane.

Police were called to the scene shortly after 8.35am.

A police spokesman said: “It looks like one of the vehicles was parked and another was moving.

“We called recovery for the vehicle blocking the road, but both vehicles had to be recovered.”

No-one is thought to have been injured and the incident was dealt with by 10am.

The crash added to traffic delays as resurfacing work is taking place in Howlands.
