Two people were hospitalised after a collision in Hatfield


Firefighters, police and ambulance crews were called to a collision in Hatfield.

A red Peugeot 306 and a green Honda Jazz were involved in the crash on Coopers Green Lane just after 8am today.

Police were called at 8.12am and firefighters from Hatfield were called to the scene at 8.18am. There was no fire but two people, including a woman with a head injury, received medical assistance from the fire service.

Two ambulances were called at 8.15am and took both patients to Lister Hospital in Stevenage for further treatment.

Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The fire crew left the area by 9.06am. Police recovered both vehicles and left the scene by 10.10am.
