A furniture shop and a charity shop are the latest businesses to leave the Howard Centre.

Crownhill Furniture will be leaving the WGC shopping centre to relocate to larger premises at Browns Garden Centre, Theobalds Park Road, Enfield.

The firm will be leaving at the end of the month.

Michael Dell, of Crownhill, said: “We would have like to have stayed on here until after Christmas, but it’s not the end of the world.”

The nearby YMCA shop, which is also on the first floor, closed its doors on Saturday and has a sign announcing its relocation to Hertford.
