A COUPLE have died in a light aircraft crash after taking off from Panshanger Aerodrome.
The male pilot, understood to be a member of the North London Flying School, was on a flight with a female passenger, believed to be his partner, from the WGC airfield to Jersey.
Their private Piper fixed wing single engine aircraft crashed into a forested hillside near Petersfield, in Hampshire, at roughly 12.30pm, on Friday.
An Air Accidents Investigations Branch spokesman told the WHT investigations into the crash are currently underway.
