Two cars were stolen from a Hatfield driveway during a 'quick' robbery while three occupants were home.

The burglary occurred at a property in Longmead between 2am and 2.39am on Thursday, July 20.

A police spokeswoman said: “The offender or offenders broke in through the front door and whilst inside, conducted a search. “They took a TV and a laptop as well as car keys for two cars, a Toyota Yaris and Toyota Aygo, parked on the drive, which were stolen.

“The place wasn’t ransacked and it appears it was a quick burglary.

“One person was in the property at the time of the offence but unaware of the offender’s presence.”
