Busy road partly closed after two-car crash in Welwyn Garden City

A busy road in Welwyn Garden City was partly closed after a two-car crash this afternoon.

Police were called at 3.12pm after a blue Audi A4 and a red Mini Cooper collided in The Campus, Welwyn Garden City, at the Digswell Road exit.

Digswell Road was temporarily closed to northboard traffic coming off The Campus.

The fire service were called to the scene due to a liquid leaking from one of the cars.

The ambulance service also attended the scene following reports of a chest injury.
